The center has full-time staff. As a community support project, it has a consignment contract with Sakai City to run the Community Support Activity (I) - Visiting Care Project and is assigned by Osaka Prefecture to run the Project to Facilitate Hospital Release. In the Project to Facilitate Hospital Release, patients themselves are actively recruited as independence support staff. In the Center's , there are counseling rooms, community rooms, staff rooms.
The Center provides a therapeutic space for people with disabilities and (intellectual, physical and mental) the elderly, and a training space where they can design a lifestyle that is suited to them. It actively carries out outreach programs by utilizing the Project to Facilitate Hospital Release for patients admitted in psychiatric hospitals, and provides community activity support so that patients can make a smooth transition into the community.
Work includes:
1 . Individual life counseling.
2 . Everyday life support.
3 . Information service.
4 . Provision of open spaces.
5 . Utilization of leisure hours.
6 . Various events and programs.
7 . Job support service.
The center was highly praised when its story was covered in the specialist magazine Yuyu as a community life support center situated in the city.
The premises of the spacious Yui was formerly a restaurant and an orthopedic surgery. The characteristics of those former businesses have been combined well to provide excellent facilities with a restaurant-scale kitchen, barrier-free bathrooms (capacity 10), shower rooms, and care equipment, and the Center aims to be a multi-function support center.
