Outpatient Women

Female patients are examined by female doctors and the staff such as nurses, clinical psychologists and psychiatric social workers are all females. The waiting room and the consultation rooms are exclusively used for Outpatient Women on the day of consultations. The waiting room is transformed into a therapeutic place for relaxation by the use of aromatherapy and BGM. After the examination, patients are booked in for tests, referred to specialists within the Hospital or to medical institutions outside the Hospital.

Consultation and treatment are provided to women who have problems they find difficult to consult about with a male doctor or do not know where to seek help from.

Overview

System of Treatment
Female patients are examined by female doctors and the staff such as nurses, clinical psychologists and psychiatric social workers are all females. The time allocated for consultation is approximately an hour per patient. Patients are seen every Tuesday by appointment and only first-time patients are seen as a general rule. To book a consultation, please call the Medical & Welfare Consultation Unit or the Outpatient Reception and ask for a consultation in the Outpatient Women clinic. You will be asked for your name and contact telephone number when you make an appointment.
Treatment Policy
After the consultation, patients will be booked in for tests or referred to specialists within the Hospital or medical institutions outside the Hospital. The time allocated for consultation is approximately an hour per patient and the clinic is available to first-time patients as a general rule.

Examinations and Guidance

A female nurse will perform an interview in the form of a simple questionnaire. In some cases, a female clinical psychologist will perform a simple psychological test before consultation, which will be followed by a consultation with a female doctor.

Fees

The fees differ depending on the examinations and tests performed and the prescription provided (medication is obtained from a drugstore outside the Hospital).
