The effects of stress relief and relaxation are improved by allowing patients to be exposed to natural light and outside air – "light, wind and greenery".
The EPU and its facilities are used as a place for relieving stress and feeling natural breeze and air.

The Unit has direct access from each of the floor in Ward H by its own elevators so that it can be reached directly from the wards. The spacious 680 sq m space has wood decking, lawns and mini track (80 meter), which can be used in a variety of ways according to the patients' needs.
