Equipped with nine consultation rooms and emergency consultation rooms accessed via the emergency patient entrance, consultation is provided to an increasing number of outpatients. The flow line for emergency patients is differentiated from general outpatients to enable emergency patients to be hospitalized smoothly into the EPU (Emergency Psychiatric Unit) on the upper floors. From 2011, Ward F (formerly Outpatient Consultation Rooms) will be used in conjunction in an aim to facilitate consultations (Ward F 1F is currently under construction).Psychotherapy

Psychological testing and consultation are provided by appointment.Since November, reception has been automated. There is a return consultation check-in machine near the front door. Consultation by appointment has also been initiated and efforts to reduce waiting time and provide patient-friendly consultation are being made.
MPU (Medical Psychiatric Unit)
Treatment of complications for psychiatric patients with internal disorders requires treatment and care that focus on somatic healthcare. We have decided to provide such a function as patients with complications have difficulty being accepted by other branches of medicine and their treatment requires a combined effort of psychiatrists and physicians.
With five units in the Ward, medical care appropriate to individual needs of patients is provided.
General Unit | This Unit is for patients with mild complications. It is also equipped with functions for dealing with rapid changes in patient conditions. |
Dementia Unit | This Unit is for patients suffering from dementia. |
Protected Unit | This Unit is for patients who are experiencing psychiatric degeneration and unstable conditions. Treatment for patients requiring movement restriction is provided. |
PICU (Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit) |
This Unit is for patients who require constant observation as they have unstable physical conditions even though they have relatively stable mental conditions. |
Terminal Unit | There are two private rooms (27-33sq m) for terminal patients and their families. The patients spend their last precious hours with their families. |
