A medical care zone with centralized functions required for engaging in the challenges of psychiatry, i.e., emergency medical care and treatment of complications, such as a pharmacy equipped with clean bench functions, the latest automated testing equipment, four ecography and electroencephalogram rooms, testing rooms with classrooms, and radiology rooms with MRI and multi CT.
The EPU (Emergency Psychiatric Unit) has a floor area of 2,000 sq m and mainly consists of private rooms, and enables patients a relaxing living environment in a spacious setting. The setting is exhibiting the effect of averting problems of violent behaviour caused by acute conditions and conflicts between patients. Along with the MPU and EPU, the ward is also composed of units according to the conditions of patients and is a fitting therapeutic environment.
In an aim to accelerate treatment and ensure safety, the Ward incorporates a significant amount of advanced equipment and systems such as 170 key cards for the entire building, PHS for the entire staff, an emergency call system and mobile electronic carts.
